Engage SR1

Engage SR1 is a Mortar Headd from The Five Star Stories (ファイブスター物語) and part of the Engage line. It is often appreciated for its clean, graceful and balanced silhouette, showing the more classical side of Mamoru Nagano’s machine-knight design.

The Engage line is tied to the knightly world of FSS, where machines are operated by Headliners with Fatima partners and carry social status as well as military function. Compared with darker machines such as Batsh or more overwhelming symbols such as the Knight of Gold, Engage SR1 feels refined, elegant and precise. It represents the FSS idea that a mobile weapon can be both a battlefield machine and a piece of aristocratic design culture.
