G-Armor

The G-Armor (Gアーマー) is a transformable support weapon system developed by the Earth Federation Forces for the RX-78-2 Gundam during the One Year War. It consists of the Gundam combined with the G-Fighter support craft, which is a transformable Core Block System support craft with an overall length of 28 meters. This configuration is designed to increase the Gundam’s mobility, firepower, and transport capabilities, allowing for rapid deployment on the battlefield.

Visually, the G-Armor encompasses the Gundam within modular equipment sections of the G-Fighter. The design includes two primary separable components, G-Part A and G-Part B, and features two large cannons attached to the cockpit area that can articulate independently. It also utilizes retractable caterpillar track units for ground movement and can be equipped with two shields attached to its sides. The system is highly versatile, supporting multiple other configurations such as G-Bull, G-Sky, and Gundam Sky.
