GN-002 Gundam Dynames

The GN-002 Gundam Dynames is Celestial Being’s long-range combat Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam 00. It is piloted by Lockon Stratos, Neil Dylandy, and supported in the cockpit by Haro, which assists with suit control while Lockon concentrates on precision shooting.

Dynames is one of the third-generation Gundams powered by a GN Drive. Common profile data lists it at about 18.2 metres tall and 59.1–59.2 tonnes. Its main weapon is the GN Sniper Rifle, used for extreme-range beam attacks; the suit can deploy a dedicated targeting sensor over the head when sniping. Other equipment includes GN Beam Pistols stored near the legs, GN Beam Sabres, GN Missiles and the GN Full Shield / GN Shield equipment used to protect the unit while aiming.

The Dynames role in Celestial Being’s team is fire support and precision intervention, contrasting with Exia’s close combat, Kyrios’s transformation and Virtue’s heavy artillery. Variations and related forms include Gundam Dynames Torpedo and Gundam Dynames Repair in later 00 side material.
