GNY-001F Gundam Astraea Type F

GNY-001F Gundam Astraea Type F is a prototype Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam 00F. Based on the GNY-001 Gundam Astraea, it is operated by Celestial Being’s shadow support organisation Fereshte. Its best-known pilot is Fon Spaak, whose aggressive personality gives the red Type F a very different image from the mainline Gundam Meisters.

The Astraea Type F is an earlier-generation Gundam equipped with GN Drive technology and a wide range of optional weapons. Its red armour and masked face cover distinguish it from the original white Astraea, while its equipment links it to the later Gundam Exia development line. The unit is popular because it expands the Gundam 00 mechanical history beyond the anime’s four main Gundams.
