Hashmal

Hashmal is a mobile armor from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, originating from the Calamity War era. Unlike normal mobile suits, it is an unmanned autonomous weapon designed for large-scale destruction, and its reactivation becomes a major threat to Tekkadan and Gjallarhorn.

The Hashmal has a distinctive bird-like silhouette, massive tail blade, beam weaponry and the ability to deploy smaller Pluma support units. Its presence explains why Gundam Frames and Alaya-Vijnana-linked machines were so important during the Calamity War. As one of the few mobile armors shown in Iron-Blooded Orphans, Hashmal gives the setting a sense of ancient technological danger far beyond ordinary battlefield machines.
