MHF-01Ω Load Astray Ω

The MHF-01Ω Load Astray Ω (ロードアストレイΩ) is a prototype modified mobile suit that appears in the manga series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED ASTRAY Princess of the Sky. Powered by a battery, its design features a sharp and stylish head with a large antenna, and characteristic modeling across the chest, arms, and legs. A defining technical feature is the High-Power Cylinder, a high-output reinforced drive system that causes the lines on the sides of its limbs to glow red when active.

The suit’s armor is unique for its use of Rare Metal Ω, a material repurposed from the blade of the 150 Gerbera. This material is strong enough to neutralize beam attacks and can only be destroyed by other weapons made of the same metal. Its primary armament is the Load Longsword, a massive Rare Metal Ω physical blade nearly as tall as the suit itself. This versatile weapon can be divided into a pair of dual swords or converted into a whip-like snake sword by separating the hilt and attaching a whip unit. When not in use, the sword is mounted on the unit’s backpack.
