MS-07 Gouf

The MS-07 Gouf is a Principality of Zeon ground-combat mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam. It was developed after the MS-06 Zaku II as a dedicated terrestrial close-combat machine, most famously piloted by Ramba Ral.

The Gouf replaces the Zaku’s general-purpose role with stronger melee and ground-warfare equipment. Its weapons include a heat rod, heat sword, shield and finger-mounted 75mm machine guns in many depictions. Ramba Ral’s blue Gouf demonstrated the suit’s close-range threat during battles against Amuro Ray and the RX-78-2 Gundam.

Later Gouf-related designs include the MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom, flight test types and other ground-use variants. The MS-07 design established the blue Zeon ace-machine look and became one of the key early examples of a mobile suit built for a specific environment and combat style rather than general deployment.
