MSN-04 II Nightingale

MSN-04 II Nightingale is Char Aznable’s large-scale Newtype-use mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack – Beltorchika’s Children. It serves as an alternative novel-version counterpart to the Sazabi, designed as a powerful Neo Zeon commander unit for Char’s final confrontation with Amuro Ray. Its major pilot is Char Aznable, making the Nightingale one of the most imposing machines associated with his later Neo Zeon era.

The Nightingale is known for its massive body, wide skirt armour and heavily armed silhouette. It combines strong thruster output with psycommu-controlled funnel weapons, beam sabers, beam rifles and heavy ranged firepower, giving it both imposing presence and high combat capability. Its distinctive design makes it one of the most recognisable Char-related mobile suits outside the main Char’s Counterattack film continuity.
