MSN-04FF Sazabi

The MSN-04FF Sazabi is a special version of Char Aznable’s Sazabi associated with the life-size ν Gundam statue project at Gundam Park Fukuoka. It is based on the MSN-04 Sazabi from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack but reinterpreted with the distinctive “FF” equipment style connected to the Fukuoka display project.

The original Sazabi is Char’s final mobile suit in Universal Century 0093, developed by Anaheim Electronics for Neo Zeon. It is a large, high-performance Newtype-use machine equipped with funnels, powerful beam weaponry and heavy armour, designed to match Amuro Ray’s ν Gundam. The MSN-04FF version preserves that overwhelming Char-machine identity while presenting it in a modernised promotional and model-kit form.

The appeal of the MSN-04FF Sazabi lies in the combination of classic Char’s Counterattack status and contemporary Gundam statue culture. It gives fans a new way to enjoy the Sazabi: still connected to Char, Neo Zeon and the Amuro–Char rivalry, but updated as a companion concept to the RX-93ff ν Gundam and the Fukuoka Gundam project.
