RX-77-02 Guncannon

RX-77-02 Guncannon is a medium-range support mobile suit from the Universal Century Gundam setting. Closely associated with Mobile Suit Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, the Guncannon line serves as a Federation artillery-support counterpart to the RX-78 Gundam. Its best-known pilots include Kai Shiden and Hayato Kobayashi, depending on the version and continuity.

The Guncannon is immediately recognisable by its red armour, sturdy body and shoulder-mounted cannons. Unlike the more agile Gundam, it is built to provide covering fire and durable mid-range support while still carrying handheld weapons such as a beam rifle.
