VF-31J Siegfried

VF-31J Siegfried is a variable fighter from Macross Delta. It is part of the VF-31 Siegfried line operated by Delta Flight, designed for high-speed combat, variable transformation and support of Walküre’s tactical sound operations. The VF-31J variant is most closely associated with Hayate Immelmann, the series’ main pilot.

Like other Macross variable fighters, the VF-31J can transform between Fighter, GERWALK and Battroid modes. Its equipment includes beam guns, head-mounted guns, close-combat weapons and container-based mission systems, giving it strong flexibility across aerial and humanoid combat situations. The J type is especially recognisable through Hayate’s blue-accented colour scheme and its role as one of the central machines of Macross Delta.
