Godzilla Vs Evangelion

Godzilla vs Evangelion (ゴジラ対エヴァンゲリオン) is a crossover project that brings together Toho’s Godzilla franchise and Neon Genesis Evangelion. It was developed as a special collaboration around the shared Hideaki Anno connection, especially following Shin Godzilla and the continuing popularity of Evangelion.

The crossover is best known through promotional artwork, merchandise, figures and model-related releases rather than a full standalone anime or film story. Its appeal comes from combining two Japanese pop-culture icons: Godzilla as the king of kaiju, and Evangelion as a psychologically intense mecha / bio-machine franchise. Designs such as Eva Unit-01 in Godzilla-inspired colours and other hybrid visual concepts make the collaboration especially attractive for collectors.
