Gundam Build Divers GBWC

Gundam Build Divers GIMM & BALL’s World Challenge (ガンダムビルドダイバーズ GIMM＆BALL’s World Challenge) is an official spinoff novel series of the anime Gundam Build Divers. Serialized in Gundam Hobby Life magazine and on the official Gundam.Info website starting in June 2018, it features a comedic story centered on a “handsome diver duo” named Gimm and Ball. The plot follows the pair after they accidentally become trapped within the virtual world of Gunpla Battle Nexus Online (GBN). To log out, they must engage in fierce battles against legendary Gunpla to obtain the “golden-polycap”. A unique aspect of the series is its focus on high-level craftsmanship, as the protagonists face off against completely new, custom Gunpla designs created by real-life GBWC (Gunpla Builders World Cup) Japan champions. These custom machines, such as the MG Qubeley Damned, are often featured as sample articles and model reviews alongside the narrative.
