Mobile Suit Gundam UC (Unicorn)

Mobile Suit Gundam UC (機動戦士ガンダムUC, also known as Gundam Unicorn) is a Universal Century Gundam story set in U.C. 0096, three years after Char’s Counterattack. It was originally a novel series by Harutoshi Fukui before receiving an OVA adaptation by Sunrise.

The story follows Banagher Links, a young student who becomes the pilot of the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam, and Mineva Lao Zabi, who is living under the name Audrey Burne. Their meeting draws them into the conflict over Laplace’s Box, a secret connected to the very beginning of the Universal Century. Gundam UC is especially important for revisiting the legacy of Zeon, Newtypes and the Earth Federation after the events of the earlier Universal Century works.
