Buster Doll

The Buster Doll series from Kotobukiya is a recent addition to their Megami Device line, which blends bishoujo aesthetics with mecha elements. Launched in 2024, the series introduces the Machinika Block2-M body, a complete overhaul of the original design, focusing on modularity, durability, and ease of assembly. The models feature multi-layered armor and numerous joints and pins, offering extensive customization options. They can be displayed in two modes: “Armed Mode,” showcasing the full armor, or “Unarmed Mode,” which highlights the base body.

Each Buster Doll kit includes interchangeable parts, such as sailor uniform accessories and chest and waist components, allowing for additional customization. The models also come with three pre-painted face parts, offering varied expressions right out of the box. The 3mm connection points make these kits compatible with parts from other Kotobukiya series like M.S.G, Frame Arms, and Arcanadea, increasing their versatility. Additionally, the models come with a newly designed base for more stable display.
