HG00 #09 Gundam Throne Eins

From Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Johann Trinity’s GNW-001 Gundam Throne Eins joins the High Grade Gundam 00 line as HG00 #09. The first of the three Gundam Thrones operated by Celestial Being’s second team, Team Trinity, Eins is a long-range bombardment machine powered by a GN Drive Tau (pseudo solar reactor). Its dark brown colour scheme, large blade antenna and enormous shoulder-mounted cannon give it a very different presence from the Ptolemaios team’s Gundams.

The centrepiece of the kit is the massive GN Launcher mounted to the backpack. Its barrel unfolds into the extended firing configuration without parts replacement, and the GN Beam Rifle can connect beneath the launcher to reproduce its high-output firing setup. Hatches on the rear backpack also support the Throne team’s particle-transfer gimmick: when combined with the separately sold HG Gundam Throne Zwei or Drei, Eins can recreate the two-machine GN Mega Launcher configuration, while all three Thrones can be connected for the full-power GN High-Mega Launcher display.

For standard combat poses, Throne Eins carries its dedicated GN Beam Rifle and a GN Shield mounted to the left shoulder, linked to the backpack by a flexible cable. Two GN Beam Saber hilts are stored on the shoulders and can be removed for handheld poses, although beam effect blades are not included with this kit. Additional movement built into the thigh and hip joints allows the torso to lean for firing stances, while a concealed connection beneath the waist supports display on a compatible Action Base.
