MG #130 Astray Red Frame Kai

From Mobile Suit Gundam SEED VS Astray, Lowe Guele’s upgraded MBF-P02Kai Gundam Astray Red Frame Kai joins the Master Grade line as MG #129. Rather than representing the standard Red Frame, this version depicts Lowe’s later customised machine fitted with the enormous Tactical Arms IIL — a multifunction backpack and weapon system derived from the Tactical Arms II used by the Blue Frame Second Revise.

The Red Frame Kai retains its trademark swordsmanship with two full-size katana: Gerbera Straight and Tiger Pierce. Both blades use metallic plated parts, while their scabbards attach to dedicated mounts on the thighs and can also be held in the hands for sword-drawing poses. The highly articulated Astray frame provides the flexibility needed for kneeling, dual-sword and iai-style poses, with an opening cockpit and Lowe Guele figures adding further Master Grade detail.

The centrepiece is the Tactical Arms IIL, which transforms through an unusually broad range of configurations. It can be carried on the back in V Form or Delta Form, opened into Flight Form, converted into the massive handheld Sword Form, changed into the giant bow-like Arrow Form, or deployed as the claw-shaped Work Form. The central Beam Torch can detach for separate use, while a clear beam effect recreates the Arrow Form’s projectile. A dedicated red Action Base 2 is included to support the oversized Tactical Arms during display.
