Experience Bandai’s high-end SD engineering with the MGSD #01 Freedom Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. Piloted by Kira Yamato, the ZGMF-X10A Freedom combines its iconic blue-and-white armour, expansive wing binders and multi-directional weapon system with the compact proportions of an SD kit, while retaining an unusually detailed internal frame and sophisticated articulation.
Released on 21 January 2023 as the first model in the MGSD line, the Freedom Gundam stands approximately 115 mm tall and introduces several technologies developed specifically to give the smaller format a premium mechanical finish. Real Metallic Gloss Injection creates a metallic sheen across selected frame and mechanical parts, while Reflection Cut moulding inside the clear wing-binder components is designed to catch and reflect light. The main camera and twin eyes use layered internal detail beneath clear parts, and the external armour uses two-tone moulding to add further visual depth.

- M100 Balaena Plasma Beam Cannons deploy forward from within the wing binders
- Wing, railgun and beam-cannon articulation allows the characteristic High-MAT Full Burst configuration to be recreated
- MA-M20 Lupus Beam Rifle features a clear blue sensor, can be held with one or both hands, and mounts to the rear skirt for storage
- Laminated Anti-Beam Shield can connect directly to the forearm or be held using its movable grip
- Two MA-M01 Lacerta Beam Sabers can be used separately, reverse-gripped or connected together as a double-ended weapon
- Beam Saber storage points incorporate locking mechanisms to keep the hilts securely mounted at the waist
- A concealed display connector is exposed by opening the backpack vernier section for use with a separately sold compatible Action Base
- Colour-moulded snap-fit construction with no glue required
