DSPIAE PT-MPS Automatic Model Parts Detacher is a compact snap-fit disassembly tool designed to help you safely separate tight plug-in parts and assemblies—especially common on Gunpla and other glue-free model kits. It’s ideal for correcting misaligned assemblies, removing unwanted parts, and taking kits apart for repainting or customization with less risk of stress marks or broken tabs.
Retractable wedge blade (push-button operation)
A spring-loaded linkage mechanism extends and retracts a concealed stainless-steel wedge blade with a simple push. The blade shape is made to slide into very narrow gaps between parts, gently “unsnapping” connections rather than prying aggressively.

How to use (recommended)
Identify the seam/gap between the two parts you want to separate.
Extend the blade and insert the wedge gently into the gap.
Work gradually along the seam to release clips/tabs a little at a time.
Retract the blade immediately after finishing.
Notes & precautions
Best for snap-fit kits and press-fit assemblies.
Not recommended for glued parts—forcing separation may cause breakage or loss of surface detail.
Use gentle pressure and work slowly to avoid whitening marks on plastic.
