Description

DSPIAE SF Siren-glass Mirror Polishing File is an ultra-fine tempered glass filing tool that removes nub marks cleanly and can leave a smooth, glossy “mirror-like” finish—ideal for Gunpla, plastic models, resin parts, and clear parts. Its nano-textured working surface is engineered for smooth, uniform filing, helping you get a clean result with less risk of deep scratches compared with coarse sanding.

Nano-glass polishing performance

The Siren series uses a precision-etched surface (single, consistent grain pattern) that provides a very fine cutting feel—often compared to ultra-high grit (around 10,000–12,000 grit) finishing. This makes it excellent for final refinement after nub removal and for polishing edges and surfaces to a high sheen.

Key features

  • High-quality tempered glass construction

  • Ultra-fine filing and mirror-grade polishing effect (approx. 10,000–12,000 grit feel)

  • Smooth, uniform filing thanks to a consistent surface pattern

  • Will not rust and is easy to clean (rinse/wash after use)

  • Supplied with a protective case for storage

Size options (SF / MSF series)

  • MSF-13: 90 × 13 × 3 mm (compact size for small parts)

  • SF-15: 110 × 13 × 3 mm (general-purpose)

  • SF-16: 110 × 13 × 3 mm (detail-friendly profile for smaller surfaces)

  • SF-17: 110 × 13 × 3 mm (pointed profile for corners and tight areas)

  • SF-20: 165 × 20 × 3 mm (large surface work)

How to use (recommended)

  1. Cut the nub close with nippers, then use the Siren file with light pressure.

  2. File in one direction or with short, controlled strokes for best consistency.

  3. For glossy plastic, finish with gentle passes to bring up a clean shine.

  4. Rinse the file under water to remove debris, then dry and store in the case.

Notes & precautions

  • Tempered glass is durable but can chip if dropped—store it in the case when not in use.

  • On some finishes, ultra-fine polishing may create a glossy spot; consider topcoat if you need an even sheen.
