The Gundam F91 is a pivotal mobile suit in the Mobile Suit Gundam F91 movie, released in 1991. Set in the Universal Century (UC) timeline, specifically UC 0122, the movie takes place over 30 years after the events of the original Mobile Suit Gundam and its sequels. The story follows the conflict between the Earth Federation and the Crossbone Vanguard, a rogue faction attempting to destabilize the peace established after the One Year War. The Gundam F91, developed by the Earth Federation’s Strategic Naval Research Institute (SNRI) as part of the Formula Project, is central to the Federation’s efforts to counter the Crossbone Vanguard. Piloted by Seabook Arno, a young civilian caught in the conflict, the F91 becomes a symbol of the Federation’s determination to restore order.

Standing at 15.2 meters tall and weighing 19.9 metric tons, the F91 was designed to be smaller, more agile, and more efficient than its predecessors, making it ideal for high-speed combat.
