MG #099 Char’s Gelgoog Ver.2.0

Recreate Char Aznable’s late-One Year War mobile suit with the MG #099 1/100 MS-14S Char’s Gelgoog Ver.2.0 from Mobile Suit Gundam. Released in July 2007 as the 99th Master Grade kit, this Ver.2.0 edition is a substantial redesign of the earlier MG Gelgoog, combining Char’s distinctive salmon-pink and deep-red colour scheme with a newly engineered internal frame and more detailed mechanical construction.

The Ver.2.0 design places particular emphasis on the Gelgoog’s layered armour and movement. Sections of the flared leg armour are separately moulded and attach to the inner frame, allowing the internal structure to remain visible during assembly or partial-armour displays. The front, side and rear waist skirts move independently, while turning the head mechanically shifts the mono-eye to follow the direction of the gaze. A dedicated articulated mounting arm allows the large shield to move between back-mounted storage and an arm-equipped position. The kit also includes the signature Beam Rifle and Beam Naginata, with optional parts for an alternate sword-style configuration, plus two blade-antenna options and a distinctive collection of 1/100-scale Char Aznable, Lalah Sune and Ele-car accessories.
