The Gaahleri Advanced Series GHAD-68 is a versatile gravity-feed trigger airbrush designed for comfortable, controlled painting across a wide range of modelling applications.
Unlike a conventional top-button airbrush, the GHAD-68 uses an ergonomic pistol-style trigger and shaped grip. This makes airflow and paint control feel more natural for many users and can help reduce finger fatigue during longer painting sessions. The durable nylon handle is also resistant to corrosion from most commonly used coatings and cleaning products.
The GHAD-68 includes interchangeable 0.38 mm and 0.5 mm needle and nozzle setups, allowing one airbrush to cover different types of work. The 0.38 mm setup provides greater control for shading, detail work and general model painting, while the 0.5 mm setup delivers increased paint flow for primers, base coats and larger surfaces.
Both nozzle sizes use Gaahleri’s 8 Micro-Air-Channel (8-MAC) system, which divides airflow through multiple channels around the nozzle to promote smooth and consistent atomisation.
Two detachable Smooth Level gravity-feed cups are supplied in 1/4 oz and 1/2 oz capacities. The smaller cup is convenient for details and small quantities of paint, while the larger cup is better suited to longer painting sessions. Their smooth internal surfaces are designed to minimise paint accumulation and make cleaning easier.
With its trigger-operated design, interchangeable nozzle sizes and two paint cups, the GHAD-68 makes a particularly flexible everyday airbrush for Gunpla, mecha, scale models, miniatures and other hobby projects.
