DSPIAE MP-01 PRO “Poseidon” Moisturizing Color Mixing Tray is a wet palette system designed for acrylic and other water-based paints, helping keep paint workable for longer, reduce waste, and maintain consistent viscosity during long painting sessions. The PRO tray pairs a water reservoir and hydration layers with replaceable papers (MP-02 PRO / MP-03 PRO / MP-05 PRO) so you can tune moisture and paint control to your workflow.
How it works
- A water storage sponge holds water as the moisture source.
- MP-02 PRO Water Conductive Paper acts as the hydration transfer layer to distribute moisture evenly across the surface.
- On top, you place either MP-03 PRO Color Mixing Paper (control-focused) or MP-05 PRO Infiltrating Color Mixing Paper (hydration-focused) to keep acrylic paint fresh and usable.

A more hydration-oriented top sheet with engineered permeability to help maintain a stable, workable paint state for longer—useful for long sessions or drier environments.

How to use
- Soak the sponge with clean water and place it in the tray.
- Lay MP-02 PRO on top as the hydration layer.
- Place MP-03 PRO or MP-05 PRO on top as your working surface.
- Add paint and mix as usual. Keep the lid closed when you pause to extend working time.
- Use the top water port to top up moisture as needed.
Notes
- Designed for acrylic and water-based paints (not for oil-based paint systems).
- Replace the top paper when it becomes stained, damaged, or starts affecting paint behaviour.
- Avoid over-wetting: too much water can thin paint excessively or cause separation—adjust moisture to your paint brand and room humidity.
