MG #111 Gundam RX-78-2 ver 2.0

MG #111 RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.2.0 returns the original Gundam to the clean, rounded proportions of the 1979 TV animation while hiding sophisticated 2008-era Master Grade engineering underneath. Rather than covering the armour in extra panel lines, Bandai deliberately keeps the exterior simple and anime-like, making the detailed Full-Action Inner Frame and Core Fighter system the technical centrepieces of the build.

The transformable FF-X7 Core Fighter docks inside the torso without preventing the waist from twisting or moving vertically. During transformation into Core Block form, the cockpit seat rotates so Amuro remains correctly oriented. Triple-jointed feet provide excellent ground contact, while the weapon selection is unusually complete: Beam Rifle with removable Super Napalm, Hyper Bazooka, Shield, two Beam Sabers, Beam Javelin and Gundam Hammer are all included.
