Kaleido ColorWorks Translucent Colours are pre-thinned, water-based acrylic paints for adding colour to transparent parts and creating rich candy finishes. Part of Gaahleri’s RapidAir™ range, they are formulated for smooth airbrush application and a glossy finish.
Use them to tint clear canopies, windscreens, signal lights and other transparent details while allowing the underlying surface to remain visible. They are particularly useful for bringing colour to Gunpla sensors, clear effect parts and scale-model lighting.
Applied over a silver or gold metallic base coat, these translucent colours produce a candy effect: the metallic layer reflects light through the coloured coating, adding depth and shimmer. Build up the finish gradually to control its intensity—lighter applications give a subtle tint, while additional layers deepen the colour.
Supplied in 20 ml bottles, the paints are ready for airbrushing straight from the bottle. RapidAir™ technology promotes smooth flow and helps reduce beading, uneven application and sagging.

Application Tips
Shake or mix thoroughly before use. Apply light, even coats and build up the colour gradually, checking the result between passes. For candy effects, apply over a dry silver or gold metallic base coat. The base colour and number of translucent layers both influence the final appearance.
