HGCE #224 Destiny Gundam

Recreate Shinn Asuka’s ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY with HGCE #224. This 1/144 High Grade Cosmic Era kit is a completely redesigned interpretation of the series’ late-stage lead mobile suit, combining the Destiny’s dramatic winged silhouette, high-mobility close-combat design and extensive weapon loadout with updated HG engineering.

Originally released on 31 May 2019, the HGCE Destiny Gundam uses a new joint structure designed for dynamic posing. Double joints in the torso allow the pronounced forward bend seen in the animation, while the side armour can slide rearwards to reduce interference with the legs and the hip joints can shift downward for additional movement. The backpack wings are fully articulated and are joined by a complete set of translucent Wings of Light effect parts, while clear effects are also supplied for the Beam Shield and the palm-mounted MMI-X340 Palma Fiocina Beam Cannon.
