MG #155 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 2 Banshee

Recreate the “Black Unicorn” from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn with the MG #155 1/100 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee. Piloted by Marida Cruz in the OVA, the Banshee shares the RX-0 lineage with Banagher’s Unicorn Gundam but adopts a dramatic dark navy-and-black armour scheme, a gold/orange Psycho-Frame and a lion-inspired V-fin that give the second Unicorn unit a very different presence.

Originally released on 24 March 2012, this Master Grade kit fully reproduces the transformation between Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode. The Psycho-Frame is moulded in a special translucent material that reacts under UV/black light, intensifying its fiery gold-orange appearance. The OVA-specific Armed Armor VN on the left arm unfolds into a large claw, while the Armed Armor BS on the right arm deploys forward as a beam smartgun. Four Beam Saber hilts are included, with two beam-effect parts that can also be used at the forearms to recreate the Beam Tonfa configuration. For the head, the kit supplies a transformable V-fin together with fixed Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode alternatives.
