MG #143 XXXG-01W Wing Gundam Ver.Ka

Heero Yuy’s XXXG-01W Wing Gundam joins the Master Grade line in its Hajime Katoki-designed Endless Waltz interpretation. This 2011 release brings the distinctive Ver.Ka-style redesign into Bandai’s coordinated MG Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz series, retaining its sharp proportions, highly detailed armour and transformable construction while adding newly designed markings and an Action Base-compatible display joint.

The completed 1/100 model transforms from Mobile Suit Mode into its streamlined Bird Mode. The backpack wings feature multiple movable sections for flight and combat poses, while the Buster Rifle and shield combine at the front of the transformed configuration. Master Grade inner-frame construction and articulated limbs provide a broad range of posing options in either form.

Wing Gundam’s signature armament is fully represented. The Buster Rifle has a removable energy cartridge, with two additional cartridge pods that can be mounted on the forearms. A beam saber is stored inside the shield when not in use, and the shield can be attached to the arm for Mobile Suit Mode or incorporated into Bird Mode. Newly designed markings by mechanical designer Hajime Katoki complete the detailed EW-series presentation.
