HGCE 1/144 Black Knight Squad Shi-ve.A recreates the NOG-M1A1 close-combat mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM. Piloted by Shura Serpentine, Shi-ve.A combines a heavily armoured knight-like silhouette with a weapon set built almost entirely around aggressive short-range combat.
The kit uses Bandai’s SEED Action System to support the wide, stylised poses associated with the SEED series. Its signature Close-In Anti-Armor Blade “Dis Pater” can be carried in hand or stored on the rear skirt, while the large ROC Shield “Svarog” features opening claws and a detachable heat-claw section that can be displayed launched on the included lead wire.
Further gimmicks include opening chest armour to expose the close-in needle weapon system, three beam sabres that can be linked into a double-ended weapon, and clear beam-sword effects that attach to the toes for kick attacks. The dramatic beam mantle is supplied as a soft printed sheet with a red gradient, giving the finished model one of the most distinctive silhouettes in the SEED FREEDOM HG line.
