April 2026 has been one of the biggest and busiest months in Modelverse history.

This month marks a major change for the UK Gunpla scene, as The Hobby Company became the official UK-based distributor for Gunpla. For us, that meant a huge wave of new arrivals from both Cosmic Group and The Hobby Company, bringing in one of our biggest Gunpla restocks and expansions yet.

Among the highlights is the gigantic PG Unleashed Nu Gundam, alongside a wide range of MG, HG, and 30 Minutes Label kits. We have also stocked all currently available G-Rework decals, including their latest decals made for the PG Unleashed Nu Gundam. On top of that, we also received some hard-to-find Premium Bandai kits that are rarely available in the UK.

But Gunpla was only part of the story.

With accumulated shipments finally arriving after the Chinese New Year period, this month also brought our widest-ever range of DSPIAE tools and accessories. From essential building tools to advanced finishing and modification equipment, this shipment significantly expanded our tool offering. It also included a broad range of accessories and supplies to support builders at every level.

We also welcomed a wide variety of other new arrivals across different lines and brands. From Blokees, we received Evangelion mecha and character kits, as well as products from Pokémon, Saint Seiya, and Marvel/DC lines. In Chinese original kits, we added exciting new products including IN ERA+ RMD Fenrir.

Japanese model kit fans will also find plenty to explore this month. We received new Kotobukiya arrivals, including the newest Megami Device kits, as well as Aoshima Macross kit. We also added our first-ever Hasegawa product to the store: the Macross VT-1 Super Ostrich Gerwalk Fighter.

Behind the scenes, April has been absolutely exhausting. We have been handling around 12 pallets of products, with 3 more pallets arriving next week. Our warehouse is now at its fullest state since we started Modelverse about a year ago. It has been a huge effort, but we are very happy to see so many exciting products finally go live.

In total, this month brings 200+ new products, taking our catalogue to 1,700+ products overall. We hope this wider range helps more builders find exactly what they are looking for, whether that is Gunpla, tools, character kits, mecha kits, or something more unusual.

To make things even better, we are also reducing our free shipping threshold to £75. That means it is now easier to enjoy free shipping when picking up your next kit, tool, or decal set.
