FSS IMS #07 Terror Mirage

The Terror Mirage joins the Volks IMS – Injection Assembly Mortar Headd Series as IMS #07, bringing one of the more unusual and tactical Mirage Machines from The Five Star Stories into detailed 1/100 scale model kit form.

Designed for reconnaissance, stealth and difficult combat conditions, the Terror Mirage has a very different character from many other Mortar Headds. Its body features a striking “confusion armour” pattern, created to disrupt enemy scanning systems, while its compact upper body contrasts with a powerful lower-body structure inspired by the L.E.D. Mirage design.

This Volks IMS kit captures the machine’s sharp silhouette, layered armour, wide stance and complex mechanical styling across 569 parts. At approximately 250 mm tall and 250 mm wide, the completed model has strong shelf presence without losing the sleek, angular look that defines FSS mecha.

As with other Volks IMS releases, this is a detailed model kit best suited to experienced builders. The 3-colour moulded plastic gives the kit a strong base appearance, while painting, careful finishing and detail work will bring out the full effect of the Terror Mirage’s unique armour and stealth-machine personality.
