FSS IMS #08 Vai O La Crumars II

The Vai O La Crumars II joins the Volks IMS – Injection Assembly Mortar Headd Series as IMS #08, bringing one of the more distinctive Mortar Headd designs from The Five Star Stories into detailed 1/100 scale model kit form.

Unlike the sleeker knight-style machines in the FSS universe, Vai O La Crumars II has a bold and unusual silhouette. Its unique head shape, broad shoulder armour, wide skirt sections and cloak-like rear armour give the completed model a powerful, ceremonial presence that stands apart from other IMS releases.

This 4-colour moulded injection plastic kit is made up of 361 parts across 13 runners, offering a substantial and rewarding build for experienced modellers. The kit also includes two head options, allowing builders to choose between the Pied Piper Specification and Bakin-Lacan Specification for different display styles.

With an approximate height of 240 mm, Vai O La Crumars II makes an impressive addition to any Volks FSS collection. It pairs especially well with other IMS releases such as the Terror Mirage, V Siren series and Black Knight, while offering a very different visual character on the shelf.

As with other Volks IMS kits, this is best suited to experienced model builders. Painting, careful assembly and finishing work are recommended to bring out the full depth of the armour shapes, mechanical details and distinctive colour scheme.
