HGCE 1/144 Black Knight Squad Rud-ro.A (Griffin Arbalest Custom) recreates Griffin Arbalest’s green-accented mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM. As one of the Kingdom of Foundation’s Black Knight Squad machines, the Rud-ro.A combines a sleek knight-like silhouette with a balanced loadout of ranged, defensive and heavy close-combat weapons.
Bandai’s SEED Action System gives the slender frame the articulation needed for wide sword swings, lunges and other exaggerated SEED-style poses. Its signature OWC-QZ200 Anti-Mobile Suit Heavy Blade is nearly as tall as the mobile suit itself and includes a clear beam edge. When not in use, the sword mounts to a multi-axis arm on the backpack, allowing the weapon to remain attached while the support arm is repositioned around the rear of the model.
The kit also includes the OWC-M1R1/F High-Energy Beam Rifle, which can be stored on the rear waist, and the large OTS-M26 Shield. Completing the Black Knight appearance is the beam mantle: a flexible sheet with gradient printing that attaches across the backpack wings and retains enough stiffness to hold a convincing swept-back shape for action poses.
