The Best Mecha Collection 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam (Revival Ver.) recreates the distinctive proportions and nostalgic character of Bandai’s original 1980 1/144 Gundam kit, while replacing its old-style construction with colour-moulded parts, touch gates and snap-fit assembly.

Rather than redesigning the RX-78-2 as a highly articulated modern kit, this Revival Version deliberately preserves the broad shoulders, rounded fists, retro silhouette and modest poseability of the original. Refined parts separation reproduces the Gundam’s colours in far greater detail and keeps most assembly seams out of view from the front, creating an accessible build that still looks unmistakably like the first-generation Gunpla.
