HGUC #186 Z II

Add one of the more distinctive Zeta-era prototype designs to your Universal Century collection with the HGUC #186 1/144 ZII. Originating from Zeta Gundam Mobile Suit Variations (Z-MSV), the MSZ-008 ZII was developed as an evolution of the Zeta Gundam concept, adopting a simplified transformation system while retaining a high-speed Waverider configuration and a recognisable mix of Zeta- and Methuss-inspired design elements.

Originally released in September 2014 as the ZII’s first Gunpla kit, this HGUC model converts from Mobile Suit Mode into Waverider Mode using dedicated replacement parts for a stable display in either form. Its extensive weapon set includes a Mega Beam Rifle, standard Beam Rifle, two Clay Bazookas and two Beam Sabers. A beam effect can also be fitted directly to the muzzle of the Mega Beam Rifle to reproduce its close-combat function, while the Clay Bazookas can be carried on the backpack. Both Mobile Suit and Waverider forms can be displayed using a separately sold Action Base 2.
