Volks Inc., established in 1972 in Kyoto, Japan, is a renowned manufacturer specializing in high-quality model kits, garage kits, and collectible figures. The company is best known for its Super Dollfie® line of customizable, ball-jointed dolls, which were introduced in 1999. These dolls are celebrated for their detailed craftsmanship and the extensive personalization options they offer to collectors.

In addition to Super Dollfie, Volks operates several other notable product lines, including the IMS (Injection Molding System) series, which features highly detailed mecha model kits, particularly from the Five Star Stories universe. The Zoukei-Mura division focuses on military and aircraft model kits, emphasizing historical accuracy and intricate engineering. Volks also produces CharaGumin, a line of 1/6 scale resin kits featuring characters from anime and manga, designed for collectors who enjoy assembling and painting. More recently, they have introduced VLOCKer’s, a line of customizable figures and accessories, as well as Dollfie Dream®, a line of 60cm soft-bodied vinyl dolls that offer a high degree of customization.
