HGUC #195 Qubeley Revive

Haman Karn’s iconic AMX-004 Qubeley from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam returns as HGUC #195. With its sweeping shoulder binders, elegant silhouette and remote-controlled funnel weapons, the Qubeley remains one of the Universal Century’s most distinctive Newtype mobile suits.

Released in 2015 as the sixth entry in Bandai’s REVIVE project, this 1/144 kit is a completely renewed interpretation rather than a reissue of the original 1999 HGUC model. Its proportions were redesigned from the animation setting and on-screen appearance, with sharp armour edges and exceptionally fine 0.15 mm detail lines. Improved colour separation, organised runner layouts and wedge-shaped gates also produce a cleaner finish straight from the box.

All four shoulder binders feature flexible multi-axis movement, allowing the Qubeley’s broad silhouette to be opened, swept back or arranged for characteristic floating poses. Ten individually removable funnels are stored beneath the rear skirt, while the included beam effect parts can be fitted to the forearm-mounted weapons as either beam sabers or beam-gun firing effects. The distinctive long-fingered hands and revised body articulation complete Haman’s imposing mobile suit.
