HGUC #061 Methuss

Recreate the AEUG’s distinctive transformable support mobile suit from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam with the HGUC #061 1/144 Methuss. The MSA-005 stands apart from more conventional mobile suits through its exposed frame-like waist, bright yellow armour and lightweight transformable design, serving as one of the AEUG’s experimental variable mobile suits during the Gryps Conflict.

Originally released on 18 March 2006, this HGUC kit can be converted from Mobile Suit Mode into its compact Mobile Armor form using a combination of transformation and selected replacement parts. Dedicated landing gear allows the completed model to be displayed in Mobile Armor Mode. The forearm-mounted Beam Guns can swing forward into firing position, while two Beam Sabers provide its close-combat armament. Bandai also includes lead wire and dedicated connector parts that allow the Methuss to be linked to the Mega Bazooka Launcher from the separately sold HGUC Hyaku Shiki + Mega Bazooka Launcher set, recreating its support role from the series.
